Rudy and Bonnie got married just after our sophomore year in high school...they were both in the high school band and fell in love. The first one in our class to marry and he was so proud to be the longest married couple. He and Bonnie were the glue in the family, organizing many family events and outings. He worked on the skyscrapers in Los Angeles and took my husband, Jim Tollefson, and our nephew, Travis Deal (a skyscraper fan), up to the top of the tallest building in Los Angeles...what a thrill. Sadly he passed away while on vacation. Jim and I went to his memorial. Fellow classmate, Everett Nelms spoke at the memorial...they had gone all through school years together, Highland, Crozier and Inglewood. Rest in Peace Rudy Aguilar...
